It's almost time for summer movies so that means i'm back out in theaters doing what I do best! review Movies!!!!
The first one that caught my eye was RoboCop (I guess the budget couldn't handle the "t" in robot? or they thought it was cooler "robo"?")
Just getting into the end of "Hollywood’s dumping ground" (sept-march) I didn't have high expectations for this one.
Just a quick bit of research show's this was an 80's animated robot tv show with a toyline. It's obvious they resurrected this one from the dead after seeing how wildly popular "Transformers" has become. (another 80's robot cartoon and toyline)

Robot Cop toy (RoboCop for short)
I missed out on some of the story elements because I was checking out some videos on youtube and the guy sitting next to me kept trying to knock my phone out of my hand and it was very distracting. From what I gathered a guy gets "transformed" into a robot and fights crime. Even for a movie based on a cartoon and toyline they were really stretching for stuff for him to do. Basically he's just riding his motorcycle (sold separately) and shooting a various array of guns while clearly not following police protocole.
I didn't see the ending because around the mid way point i had plugged some external speakers into my phone because i was having trouble hearing anything over the deafening imax speakers and the guy next to me flips out and has ushers drag me out of the theater.
Anyway, for another blatant toy ad and remake of a cartoon from the 80s there really isn't any other way to go other than give this my lowest possible score, ** two stars.
