Like everyone, I stare at brick walls a lot and wish I could drive my car through them. Upwards of 4 hours a day I sit in my car facing the brick wall. Sometimes I leave the engine off, or sometimes I just let it idle. When I’m really feeling it, and the brick wall is mocking me, I’ll rev my engine and let it dare me to release my foot from the break and go driving gracefully through it, like a dove flying through a rainbow.
I never release my foot from the break. Even when the brick wall is wailing, pleading for me to try. To turn my car around, drive three blocks, and see how fast I can get going before finally reaching the brick wall and miraculously passing through it.

Instead, like everyone, I turn on my radio and search through the different golden oldie stations until I find one that is playing “Hotel California” by The Eagles. Then I go back home. It's impossible to drive into the brick wall and not explode.
