Why the heck do people waste so much time on a babies first birthday or Christmas??? It's not like the baby will remember. People get so stressed out over these things that they don’t even enjoy the moment!
Here's what I suggest:
Get some empty boxes and wrap them up. Get one real present though!! Sit the baby in it's baby chair or whatever and surround it with the phony presents. Snap a few pictures of that scene, then open the real present and snap a few more pictures of that. Then if you have some candy bar or something laying around smear some chocolate on the babies face and snap a few pictures as "after the first piece of birthday cake". Finally, it’s off to bed for baby and the real fun can begin!
With my stress free method, you don't have to waste so much time planning and getting gifts for a baby who won't even care or say thank you.
